Slight soiling and dust can be removed with a soft brush or cloth.

Stubborn dirt that has dried on can be gently rubbed off with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Wet sneakers are best left to air dry. Do not place them in the sun or on a heater. To speed up the process, remove the insoles and stuff the shoes with wads of newspaper.

Once the sneakers are dry and free of dirt, leather cream can be applied. This can be done with a cloth. Then polish the sneaker with a soft cloth.

When not in use, sneakers should be kept in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Enclosing them in a cabinet with a shoe rack is best.

Textile sneakers should be cleaned as soon as they become dirty. This is what to do:

Use a brush to remove excess dirt, such as dried on soil.
Stains in the fabric should be removed with a sponge, cloth or brush, wetted in lukewarm water with a little detergent.
Carefully dab the soiled areas. Rub gently, if necessary, but avoid scrubbing as this could damage the fabric.
Then rinse the sneaker generously with water, so that no detergent remains in the fabric.
Allow the sneakers to air dry. To speed up the process, dab with a towel, but do not place them on the heating or in sunshine.
