The materials Flamingos' Life sneakers are made of are all sustainable and ecological. The vegan sneakers are made from 100% recycled polyester from already used PET bottles. The PET bottles are fished out of the sea and recycled by WFO (stands for Waste Free Oceans, a non-profit organisation). All recycled plastic materials are Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified. Organically grown cotton is used for the inner lining of the shoes. The eyelets used on the shoes are chrome and nickel-free. The vegan sneakers also impress with their outer values. For the upper material, Flamingos' Life uses an environmentally friendly imitation leather made from corn waste, hemp, linen or organic cotton instead of leather.
