LLOYD Shoes GmbH was already founded in the year 1888 under the name H.F Meyer Schuhfabrik in Bremen, Germany. During WWI the company headquarters was relocated to Sulingen, where the enterprise is still stationed today. Henceforth, a new company name was to be found which would ideally represent the high-quality shoes abroad. This is why the traditional company was renamed to LLOYD Shoes and received a protected brand image in 1968 which is simultaneously a trademark of every single shoe: Until today the red stripe on the heel is a distinctive characteristic feature of the exclusive LLOYD shoe models.In the meantime the product line not only includes a wide variety of classical and trendy men's shoes, but also women's shoes, accessories as well as bags, wallets and clothes made of finest leathers. Thereby the manufacturer takes into account men with wider or larger feet as well. Many shoe models are marked with the label “extra wide” and also offer a high wearing comfort.
